Our Adjudicators
Able Adjudication has been most fortunate to secure the services of three (3) of the most respected Security of Payment adjudicators in Australia. Although they have lost count of the number of adjudications completed it is thought to be well in excess of 300 each across Queensland, NSW, Victoria, ACT and Tasmania (This is probably more like 500 but who’s counting?)
One of our Senior Adjudicators has the impressive status of being one of the original adjudicators in NSW in 1999, Victoria in 2002, QLD in 2004, Tasmania in 2010 and ACT in 2010. The other two senior adjudicators have been around since the QLD commencement in 2004 so that’s impressive as well. All three have vast experience in the building and construction industry and have mentored and educated industry participants and other adjudicators for many years.
It is suggested that from the parties point of view having a dispute adjudicated upon and is not challenged in the Supreme Court is imperative. Our Senior adjudicators have demonstrated consistently that their decisons/determinations may be challengeable but have been found beyond reproach. This is a very important point for the parties in selecting an Authorised Nominating Authority.
Able Adjudication with assistance from the Senior Adjudicators has carefully sought and secured the services of a fine team of talented adjudicators with an excellent mix of experience and educational qualifications which caters for the vast majority of the various facets of the building and constuction industry.
There is a focus on home-grown adjudicators however, a healthy interstate influx ensures consistent high quality determinations/decisions across all jurisdictions and appropriate cross pollination which supports continuous improvement and an effective training regime.
Currently, there is no intention to engage any further adjudicators however, this may change if Able Adjudication gains authorisation in other jurisdictions where the hunt for talented potential local adjudictors will no doubt commence in ernest.
