The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Security of Payment adjudication legislation is the Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payment) Act 2009 (BCISOP) which came into force on 1 July 2010.

The Act has maintained a similar framework to other East Coast schemes and is very similar to the NSW legislation (which makes perfect sense to industry).
